LOCATION

Sultan Qaboos University is the venue for HYPOTHESIS XVIII. It is a public university located at about 30 km form the centre of Muscat, the state capital, and 22 km from the Muscat International Airport.

 




 

 

TRANSPORT FACILITIES

The university is only 15 min driving from the Muscat International Airport.
The airport is connected with direct flights from several cities in the Middle East and India. There are also direct flights from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Zurich. Those coming from cities not directly connected can stop in one of the aforementioned cities or fly to Dubai or Doha and then to Muscat.
There is an airport taxi service available (24/7) with a fixed tariff.
Public buses, operated by Mwasalat Transport Company, are available at the bus station located in the ground floor outside the airport building.
