Born on May 4, 1962. Bachelor of engineering from University of Tokyo in 1985. Master of engineering from University of Tokyo in 1987. Doctor of engineering from University of Tokyo in 1998. Researcher of Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. since 1987 and Senior researcher of Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. since 1993. Part-time instructor of Tohoku University in 1995 and Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2001.

Born 1943. PhD (Physics & Physical Chemistry, Thesis on Carbohydrides of Transition Metals) in 1967 from Univ. of Vienna (Austria). Visiting Professor at Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research (Stuttgart), University of Paris-Sud (France), Sir Allan Sewell Fellow (Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia); Past President of Swiss Society of neutron Scattering, Past Chairman of Scientific Councils of Institute Laue-Langevin (Grenoble) and  Swiss Neutron Spallation Source (PSI Villigen), Councel Member of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble); Member of International Steering Committee for the Conference Series: International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems. Author of more than 270 scientific publications; Guest Editor for Proceedings of International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems 1996 in J. of Alloys and Coumpounds; Silver medal at 20th International Fair of Inventions (Geneva), Ivan Puluj Medal (Ukrainian Academy of Sciences), Mineral Yvonite named after him. Constructed first hydrogen powered lawn mower (1992) and evaluated first Photovoltaic Hydrogen Production and Storage Installation for a Residential Home in Switzerland (2000).
