Massimo
Gian Luca Santarelli, Ph.D., 35 years old. Research scientist in the
Dipartimento di Energetica of the Politecnico di Torino (Torino-Italy).
Author of more than 40 scientific papers. Research activities: of
Second Law Analysis and Optimization of energy systems and in
Environomics; sustainable energy systems inside municipalities; energy
economics and energy policy. Research activities about hydrogen energy
systems: experimental activities on PEMFC (determination of cell
parameters; water management and transport mechanism); SOFC model
development; studies about different options of production, storage,
transport and final use of hydrogen in the Italian present energy
system; PV-electrolyser-PEMFC energy systems to supply electricity and
heat to an isolated residential utility in a complete year; production
of hydrogen from the utilisation of pico or micro hydroelectric input.
Member of the Cycle Innovation Committee of the International Gas
Turbine Institute of the ASME, of the International Solar Energy
Society, of the International Association of Energy Economics.

Professor Dr. Shahrokhi, Professor Emeritus, President of
PowerAvenue Corp. based in US with operation
interest in Switzerland, Germany and Italy. The company has expertise
in alternative energy production
specialized in Hydrogen Fuel Cell.
Prior to current position
Professor Shahrokhi was University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University senior professor for 37 years, with
expertise in satellite technology, telecommunications
and propulsions.
He was scientific advisor to
two former US presidents; President Richard Nixon, and President Ronald Reagan.
He was former science advisor
to NATO, US-State Dept., United Nations Committee on Peaceful Application of Space, and assistant to the Chief
Scientist of Air Force System Command. He has been recipient of numerous awards, among those; US Air
Force’s General H. H. Arnold Award, “In
Recognition of Outstanding Contributions Toward Advancing the State of
Art of the Aerodynamic and
Astronautical Sciences”, and recipient of several awards from American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Professor Shahrokhi has been
author of fourteen books in space technology and innovation in clean alternative energy source. He has authored
in excess of eighty journal publications and numerous presentations and several patents.

Bent
Sørensen received his Ph.D. in physics from the Niels Bohr
Institute, Copenhagen University, and the Diploma in Advanced
Management from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He is currently professor at
Roskilde University, Institute 2 (head of Energy and Environmental
Group), president of NOVATOR Advanced Technology Consulting, and has
formerly held academic positions at Berkeley, Yale, Golden, Kyoto,
Grenoble and Sydney. He has been an advisor to the OECD, the Japanese
and Australian governments, various UN agencies, and has served as
technical director and board member of Cowiconsult Inc., and in the
IPCC working group on climate change mitigation. He served as chairman
of the Danish Energy Agency Solar Energy Committee and the Hydrogen
Energy Committee, received the Australian-European Award for Eminent
Scholars and the European Solar Prize. He was knighted by HRH Queen
Margrethe of Denmark. He participated in numerous Nordic and European
research projects and has published more than 500 works including
research monographs, the most well known being "Renewable Energy"
(Academic Press 1979 and 2000), scientific journal papers and project
reports.
