Born 17 July 1957. Graduated in 1984 in industrial chemistry at Univ. of Messina. From 1980 to 1987 she collaborated as stu­dent, before for the thesis and then for the specialization degree in "Chemistry and tech­nology of catalysis", with the Inst. CNR-TAE, in the field of preparation and characterization of semiconductor electrodes for photoelectrolysis of water. From 1988 she is researcher of Italian Nat. Council of Research at Inst. CNR-TAE, where she works in the technology of preparation and characterization of compo­nents (electrodes and matrix) for acid fuel cells. From 1993 she is scientific responsible in this field and collaborates in the research on molten carbonate fuel cells for the project JOU2CT-0134 "10 kW demonstration of pilot stack technology for DIR-MCFC power plant". She has published 19 works on Int. journals and has participated at several Int. con­gresses.

Born on 1 Feb. 1961. Graduated with honours (1984) "Gas Turbine" Chair of Moscow Higher Technical School Bauman. Post graduated (1987-1990) course at the same Inst.; dissertation successfully defended in 1990. Head of Lab. in Scientific Research Union "BINKOM" (1990-1993) Since 1993 Senior Researcher at Inst. for High Temperatures of Russian Ac. of Sciences. Fields of interest: gas dynamic, friction, heat and mass transfer in power units, continuous casting of materials, hydrogen accumulation and thermal thin film converters. Author of 12 papers.
