Renato Lazzarin (Belluno, Italy, 1949) is graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Statistical and Economical Sciences. He is full professor of Physical Technics at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Padova. He is Scientific Director of the "Condizionamento dell'aria" Journal and President of the Scientific Commitee of the AICARR Congress of Padua. His research activity regards the fields of renovable energy, energy management and energy saving. He is author or co-author of about 220 scientific publications, most of them appeared in the international scientific literature, and 12 textbooks.
